NBA: Daily Predictions
There is just one game on the schedule Thursday in the NBA, as the New York Knicks/Brooklyn Nets game, was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
The lone game on the schedule features the reigning Western Conference champion, Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the San Antonio Spurs.
This is the Thunder’s first game of the season and the Spurs second game.
The Spurs are coming off a 99-95 victory over the New Orleans Hornets, on Wednesday night, led by Tim Duncan, who had 24 points and 11 rebounds.
The Thunder and Spurs, are expected, once again to be two of the top teams in the Western Conference and the whole entire league.
With the Spurs playing their second game of a back to back, this will be tough for the veteran club. What will help is that it is their home opener.
That being said, I do expect the Thunder to come into San Antonio and win tonight’s game.
Predicted Winner: Oklahoma City
