NBA: Suns begin road-trip against Kevin Love
Phoenix begins a three-game road trip today as they will square off against Minnesota.
The Suns (40-29) are clicking right now on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Eric Bledsoe has been playing some terrific basketball since returning from injury.
The road to the playoffs for Phoenix is daunting as they only have four more home games out of their 13 remaining games. The Suns are currently just one game behind Memphis for the 8th spot and 1.5 games behind Dallas for the 7th spot. Crazier things have happened before, so don’t count out this Cinderella story Suns team.
Minnesota (34-33) is five games behind the Suns and locked into the 10th spot in the West. Kevin Love led the T’Wolves to victory in the last matchup between these two teams in Phoenix when he scored 33 points, grabbed 13 boards, and dished out 9 assists. The road team has won the previous two matchups in this season series.
The Suns and Timberwolves will tip-off at 12:30 p.m. MT from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
