The Phoenix Suns (40-29) have surpassed all expectations and then some this season after reaching the 40-win plateau last night, defeating the Detroit Pistons (25-43) 98-92.
It was a close game throughout before Eric Bledsoe turned it on in the 4th. Bledsoe scored 15 points in the final frame to push his team to victory. He would finish with 23 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists. Goran Dragic scored 15 points in the first half, finishing with 20 points and 5 assists.
Markieff Morris has been on fire for the past few months. He dropped 16 points and grabbed 8 boards last night, which is becoming his “usual” stat line. Over the last 31 games Markieff Morris is averaging 16.1 points on 49% shooting. He must be included in the NBA 6th Man of the Year award conversations.
