NBA: Suns win crucial road game against Portland

Stay hot Phoenix! The Suns snapped the Portland Trailblazers four game winning streak Saturday night with a 109-93 victory.

Gerald Green scored 32 points while Eric Bledsoe scored 30 of his own to lead the Suns to victory.

Green even outscored Portland in the 4th quarter 14-13.

The bench once again had a great night, finishing with a combined 50 points and 27 rebounds with Green leading the charge and Markieff Morris chipping in with a double-double.

Robin Lopez was the Trailblazers’ player of the game as he finished with a team-high 18 points and 13 rebounds against his former club.

Nic Batum also had a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. Lamarcus Aldridge added 18 points and 7 boards.

Phoenix (45-31) remained the 9-see in the West as Memphis and Dallas were both victorious last night.
Portland (49-28) came into the night just one game behind Houston, but Houston defeated OKC to gain a two game lead over the Trailblazers for the 4-seed.

The Suns will be back in action on Sunday night when they host Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
